My name is Karl Johansson and I started Ipoleco during my time at Royal Holloway University in London where I studied Economics, Politics, and International Relations. I've always been interested in politics and society and the blog is a place for me to explore different ideas and concepts relating to economics or politics, be that national or international. The goal for the blog is to make you think; to provide new perspectives.

Besides the weekly blog posts I hope to get a book published, tentatively called 'The Bird & The Technoking' which will explore Elon Musk's buying of Twitter and the role social media does and should play in a modern society. The book is planned to be five chapters titled:
